Im happy to share with you all the news of my band’s first big gig!

I joined @yourbadsaints about a month ago as lead guitar, and it has been an absolute blast jamming covers as a group ever since 😎👉👉

This gig is a brew fest just north of Hartford. I would love to look out into the crowd and see some familiar faces, but regardless i will be shredding for any and all attendance 😈#leadguitar #badsaints

It is an instrumental track, with it’s title inspired by one of Metallica’s well known instrumentals “To Live is To Die”

When I was a kid learning how to play guitar, I dreamed of making my own music without really knowing if it would ever be possible. So, I really hope you all enjoy my work!

I would also like to thank every who enjoys my music and continues to push me forward with their support - much love!

This original exercise may look and sound crazy, but it is actually derived from basic guitar theory

Here, i am playing arpeggios, which are created by playing the 1-3-5 (major) or 1-3Flat-5 (minor) notes in each corresponding scale

In my words, Arpeggios are basically just chords broken down between strings

2. Doesn’t matter (for the most part) if you start learning on the acoustic or electric, because you can shred on either
3. Be creative! Most covers are never exact replicas, so put your own personal spin on it!

The best way that i combat those nerves? I get out and play!

Practicing, then practicing playing in front of people helps you get used to those crowds. Once you get that calmness and focus on having fun with the song, your mind lets go of how many people you’re playing for 😊
